This is the true story of the tyrannical fascist American government during the Civil War. All of the stories in this book are documented facts.
It tells how the U. S. government suspended "Habeas Corpus" in the United States which allowed them to arrest and imprison American citizens whenever they wanted. The citizen had no right to an attorney and no right
to know what he was being arrested for or charged with.
Many of the people were thrown into prisoner-of-war camps and treated with abject cruelty as directed by the government officials. It is a stark reminder of what an out of control government can do, has done in the past and is doing again today.
