Simkhe d' Siprayouta July 2024

This is the hard copy of the Online Assyrian Journal Simkhe d’ Siprayouta, or Rays of Literature, issue 22, which appeared in July 2024. The journal is devoted to the publication of the literary works of modern Assyrian writers and poets. This issue is primarily concerned about the Assyrian Martyres and includes many articles on the Assyrian Genocide past and present. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of this online journal, this issue includes a large number of articles in English language, some of which discuss new findings about the ancient Assyrians and Babylonians. The Announcement sections introduce new and old books in Assyrian and English languages, mostly about the plight of the Assyrians in the two great wars and the Assyrian Genocide.
