Hello, Doodler! Welcome to Doodlebloom, a tiny garden of cute things waiting for you to bring them to life. Inside, you’ll draw friendly food, sleepy animals, dreamy weather, and little characters with big personalities. Our only rule: there is no wrong way to doodle. A wobbly line can become a tail. A funny circle can become a face. If your drawing looks different from the example, that means it is becoming yours. Your Cute-Drawing Recipe 1. Start with a simple shape. Circles, ovals, squares and triangles are your best friends. 2. Add one or two details. Ears, leaves, sprinkles, stripes or a tiny handle can tell us what it is. 3. Give it a face. Two eyes and a small mouth can make almost anything feel alive. 4. Add your own twist. Try a bow, a hat, a pattern, a tiny friend or a silly expression. Meet Your Art Kit Helpful supplies: pencil and eraser; black pen or fine liner (optional); colouring pencils, crayons or markers; scrap paper for warm-ups. Try this: draw three lines slowly, three lines quickly, and three lines that wiggle. Notice how each one has its own personality. Warm-Up: Shapes Everywhere Almost every cute doodle begins with a circle, oval, square, triangle, heart or star. Draw each shape three times, then turn one into a character. Make a Face Tiny changes make a big difference. Try round eyes, sleepy eyes, surprised eyes and a tiny smile. Add cheeks if you want extra sweetness. Expressions Have Feelings A curved smile feels happy. Closed eyes can look sleepy. A small round mouth can look surprised. Draw the same character with three different moods.
