The Meaning of Manuel

Reason requires etiquette. Here there is none. The Meaning of Manuel is a comedy of errors and an error of comedies. A group of artists in a small town find Manuel, who does not understand poetry and has not read Shakespeare. Tell the story, let the story tell you. Inspired by Amedeo Modigliani's Portrait of the Painter Manuel Humbert, The Meaning of Manuel explores notions of identity, creativity, language and misunderstanding.
