The Poetry Archive, Volume 1: Avalanche

This book of poems has been a work in progress since my seventh grade Language Arts class, when I began writing poems for my teacher, Mrs. Heinmiller. After learning the mechanics of rhythm and rhyme, I turned to poetry as an outlet for one of the most emotional period of my life. Poetry became a way to express the words, the feelings, and the loneliness I often felt throughout my high school years. Now that I'm in college, I feel it most appropriate to publish these thoughts - as a way to archive the world I endured during the last six years. I hope my word serve as inspiration, enlightenment, and preservation of my past. Please enjoy.
