Earth Return

After spending three years on an eventful voyage to Mars, Samantha and her friends would naturally feel entitled to a little rest. After all, they’d just saved one planet from a comet strike and terraformed another so some down time would be welcomed by them. No such luck. After emerging from quarantine, the crew of Fastrack One had to figure out what to do with the rest of their lives. Those options included a TV science show, Dave becoming the basketball coach at Havens U and in the case of Thomas, taking on the role of the Human Ambassador to Merfolk. Mostly the group settled back into their pre-spaceflight careers. This was especially true for Samantha who returned to her natural habitat of the Genetics Lab. She, Dave and Little Maria settled into a new home which came with a snaky occupant, later named Crawley. New challenges arose, such as unexpected transformations, newborns and finally, the prospect of discovering life in the clouds of Venus. The fun never stops.
