This book describes a life lived to the full. It stretches from the time when a hard drive was herding a bunch of heifers down the village street until the present time when, for some obscure reason, it has become the memory core of a computer. It started as an account of family history for his granddaughter but it grew to become an exciting and humourous narrative of his life story and an account of a journey well travelled.
Reading this will take you from his life as a child growing up in the Gloucestershire countryside in the 1930s and 1940s, through his adventures in military service and the transition back to civilian life. It is followed by the eventual return to his rural roots.
