Dracula was written by Irish novelist Bram Stoker and published in 1897. The novel tells the story of the infamous vampire, Count Dracula, through ships' logs, newspaper clippings, and journal entries of Jonathan Harker, Mina Murray, Lucy Westenra, and Dr. Seward. Dracula, with the help of Jonathan Harker and his firm, is attempting to move from his Carpathian home of Transylvania to the over-populated London to find a new feeding ground to spread his curse of undeath. A group of men and women, led by Professor Abraham Van Helsing, fight to stop him and end his plague upon mankind for good.
