We Rise With The Dead

An eleven-year-old girl, excited to graduate and become a middle schooler, has her young life interrupted by the fast and impending apocalypse where the dead begin to rise with her only support being from a newfound family struggling to stay alive. As she becomes accustomed to this new group who all have their own quirks and flaws, she must also get used to the fast-paced changes in her everyday life. Not only is there an impending apocalypse that she must worry about, but also love, betrayal, sabotage, guilt, and many other challenging feelings along with puberty. It’s hard to decipher what will break Alyson first: the dead or the living.
