Buster Hays' Illustrious Meanderings through this Life have given him a Depth of Wisdom tempered with an astounding Sense of Humor that often catches the listener from behind - upsetting the apple cart of Decorum. From chasing alligators near Spindletop, his birthplace, to marching in the rain in the Marines, running refineries for Mobil, hawking original art to galleries, painting all over West Texas, and dearly loving Uggie, he's given himself a good run.
Along the way he picked up the Sobriquet "Old Eagle," from his American Indian heritage. This Native background has given him a rare understanding of the role of the Great Spirit, as it mixes with the Spirits of everything we see, and our Mother Earth.
From this Knowing, Old Eagle writes, paints, sings and infrequently dances...yet mostly he interacts with his Friends in the ways of the Soul. His writings have been collected into an ongoing series of books, available here or from Buster Himself.
