During December of 3767, 7th graders Paige and Sasha were at school when they heard rumors of snow later in the day. The snow came, but more than expected. A power outage occurred, followed by a drought. High ranking authorities concluded that there was a hacker likely behind it. Almost no other information was given to Paige, her sister, or Sasha before they headed into a desert, as Paige was the only citizen with a functioning daily use disc. The trio obeyed their instructions, but as they progressed in their mission, they realized that there was much more to this than they had expected.
