Out on a Limb

Spirit, caught between playing it safe and the pull of new possibilities, finds herself literally and metaphorically out on a limb. When she meets Luca Adams—an attorney with an intriguing personality, striking good looks, and a talent for seduction—she’s drawn in despite herself. But the realities of their private lives threaten the fresh start they might find together. As the story unfolds, apprehension, hope, and self-discovery intertwine, revealing that real growth often comes from taking chances and trusting yourself, even when the outcome is uncertain—especially when the past comes back to haunt you. Unbeknownst to Luca, his ex-fling, Demi Dubois, has a score to settle, and she enlists the help of Spirit’s womanizing ex, Darren Crawford, a journalist with an axe to grind. Together, the web of lies they spin will nearly cost Spirit and Luca everything, including each other. Will Luca and Spirit's love be strong enough to survive the lies, deceit, and treachery orchestrated by two bitter, conniving individuals driven by a misguided desire for revenge?
