Apollinaires Apprentice is a semi autobiographical work , about a newly singled parent. Chrissie is a very average woman from a less than salubrious small town in the North East of England who at the age of 39years old finds herself alone and trying to bring up her family . The book follows the trials and tribulations of her life at this time,.Written on a battered word processor with only half a screen in a simple two up two down council house , the author pulls from her own life experience, almost as it has happened to create a book which is sometimes sad ,often amusing and sometimes heartbreaking in its honesty, The content will be familliar with by women the world over who have ever been in the same position, and beleive me, thats alot of ladies.!!!
