Ka is a woman stranger to her own town. She lives on the outside of Moby, a little fishing town at the shore of the luminous sea. Just like every mobian and the sea, she shines during the day and gets dark at night, while the sky is as dark as inland. The luminous sea is the only source of light, and the one that makes the difference between day and night.
Everything changes when Reese, a dark man, arrives Moby coming from inland. Unlike the rest of the humans, he didn't shine, but he owns devices of a superior technology, capable of shining without using luminous water. Ka tries to find out who is he, where he comes from, but above all, which is the mission he doesn't want to talk about.
