My English Journal Workbook

“My English Journal” is intended for Korean EFL students at the high beginner to high intermediate level. This text has been created as a workbook in order to foster learner ownership. Students often complain about the uselessness of texts in English conversation classes. Either the topics are not interesting or the activities do not require much use of the actual textbook. Students wonder why they bought the book in the first place. With this workbook, students will essentially be writing their own textbooks. With topical vocabulary reminders for each section and the freedom to choose their own topics to focus on, students will experience both the comfort of a structured workbook and the freedom to be creative.
