Harbingers of Spring

This is a book about turkey hunting in Appalachia that details the memories of one turkey hunter. There are tales of people, hunts, places, and gobblers that characterize the history, attitudes, and legacy of West Virginia and other Appalachian states hunting culture. This book is a collection of real stories and events about people, places, and turkey hunting. Most of the events and stories are life experiences of the author over a life time and some of the stories are handed down through generations of family and friends. This book will take the reader on a roller coaster ride of emotions ranging from laughter to tears.
