Faith is essential to salvation. But what is faith? To the seeker it can appear a complex thing and attempts to explain it often add to the confusion. With simple directness Spurgeon explains what faith is and shows that it must be fixed entirely on all that Jesus Christ is, and all that He has done. He presents the arguments for belief and compellingly deals with the difficulties that enquirers face. We can know that we possess faith and Spurgeon's objective is that all serious seekers may do so.
