This books shows parents how to communicate, listen and improve their relationships in general with their teenagers. This book is for any person who lives with teenagers. Raising my teens wasn't easy as it never is but I did learn quite a few helpful techniques along the way. Most ideas are common sense but we sometimes loose all sense when dealing with our teenagers and need a bit of a gentle reminder. From time to time we all need to take a step back and give ourselves a time out, think before we speak and listen with an open mind. It is very easy to say, "I am the parent and I know what's right" to our teens however, even we as parents don't always know what is "right". It's only when parents stop listening and communicating with their teens that the barriers go up. It is essentail that we always take time to listen. After all, don't you too want to be heard?
