Her Silent Cry

This story is based on my true life experience, living with domestic violence. I lived with my abuser for 22 years, believing he was my soulmate. I thought I had found the person that would protect me from all harm, little did I know that his true self would come out, far beyond what I could ever imagine. I lived in silence for far too long. Thankfully, I was able to get my children and myself out safely. But it was at a very high cost. While I do have some regrets, leaving him is not one of them!
