About Rebecca J. Raymond

Rebecca Raymond and I have been creating Huckleberry Happy Books® since 1996. The characters are called "Happys". They were first created by me in 1976, then came into their own in 1996 in our first book: Huckleberry Happy's Houseboat Home. We both write the stories and I illustrate them. In the beginning, we printed them ourselves-cut, collated, & stapled them-and sold them at craft shows in the pockets of the Happy dolls I made. Then we found Lulu.com and our stories became "slick" books printed by someone else! Now they are available as paperbacks & eBooks. Look for them on many internet sites. I live in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona-an upstate NY transplant. Rebecca still lives in upstate NY. I love to camp, bike, hike, swim, kayak, dance, sing, paint, draw, sculpt... I spend my days doing what I love and enriching the lives of young people around the world-thanks to the internet. I'm glad you joined us on this wonderful Happy journey.
