Richard Dadd was a Victorian era painter who was placed in a mental hospital after murdering his father. While a resident at both Bethlem and Broadmoor, he painted a wide variety of subject matter, from portraits of his doctors to elaborate fairy paintings. This book celebrates his wonderful art, with a series of colour reproductions and an essay on Dadd's life by Chris Wade.
