Marcie and Me

This is the story about a very special dog. We named her Marcie after we adopted her from our local shelter. Marcie was found roaming the woods of Massachusetts in a bad state of neglect. She was cleaned up and cared for in this shelter by really nice people. When we first saw her we fell in love with her, she had long shiny black fur and an intelligent face. In fact, as we became to know her, we found out that this dog could really TALK - with her eyes that is. We were amazed how quick she learned to listen to us and answer us, in her own way. Marcie then proceeded to completely ruin my nicely run household and serenity by her incredible enthusiasm for life and having fun! She got into all sorts of scapes and had the whole family running every which way. Since This book will make you laugh and cry and make you wonder why people in general even consider owning dogs!!
