Rubaiyyat: On the Persian Poet's Muse

Quatrains written in the style of Edward-Fitzgerald's Rubaiyyat of Omar Khayyam. This First in a Series of Three Small (50-page) Books springboards off the Persian-Poet's famous-work (oft quoting his quatrains) to effect a comprehensive critique of the gifted Astronomer-Mathematician's poetic muse. The Book ends with a Prosaic-Piece on Omar Khayyam himself (and a bonus paragraph on Edward Fitzgerald who translated and poetically synthesized Omar's Rubaiyyat bringing the genius of its artistry to the West.
