Absent Friends

A tale of love, betrayal, adventure, and ... Madonna? Following the dissolution of a deep friendship, one former blogger finds himself having a crisis of conscience. In an effort to make sense of this complicated turn of events, he turns to his oldest friend and soon embarks on an overdue journey of self-discovery that has him revisiting people and places long since removed from his world. Facing his past, however, may bring more questions than answers as he quickly learns that the past cannot always be trusted. "Absent Friends" presents one man's odyssey as he begins to challenge his memories in order to face his future. It's a story about traversing one's roots amongst a thicket of thorns and the bitter realization that, sometimes, the only way to move forward is by going backward.
