This Calendar is the result of the 2nd Astro-Tourism contest held by CIENTEC Foundation in Costa Rica, to promote the appreciation and the preservation of the night skies in the country and to enhance opportunities for rural communities, National Parks and Reserves, in expanding their activities, sharing their cultural heritage and strengthening their conservation efforts.
