The Animal Heroes

A gritty and topically current animal adventure story that does not pander to children and stimulates inquisitive dialogue between parent and child. From it’s non conventional gritty art style to it’s slightly adolescent form of story telling, ‘The Animal Heroes' offers endless possibilities for interpretation by readers of any age. On the surface, it is an off standard heroic tale of good versus evil, but as you really think about the words and look closely at the books illustrations, it all feels very deliberate. You can’t help the feeling that this short book has much more hidden away in its pages then it let’s on.
