Our intrepid reporter, Julie McNamara, is back in the thrilling sequel to Johnny Walker's Red. Once again, Johnny Walker, all-star center fielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers, asks Julie for help, this time when his thoroughbred race horse is stolen while in transit from Kentucky to California. Unexpected twists and turns thwart their efforts to recover the horse. Meanwhile, a young man has been charged with bank robbery. In desperation, he begs Julie to look into the case. Julie visits the young man in jail, and leaves convinced of his innocence. Julie sets out to clear his name, but must first go head to head with the lead detective assigned to the case.
