Dreaming of Kate

Danny Dalton is an introvert who, driven by grief, lives a reclusive life while he writes best-selling novels under a pen name. Convinced that he must rejoin the world of the living to salvage what's left of his mental health, Danny moves into an apartment building in Plymouth, Massachusetts. There, he begins to make connections with the buildings residents, including a suicidal 14-year old girl named Ciara. Driven to write, Danny begins work on his next novel, a story about a young middle school English teacher, Kate. But as he writes, something unexpected happens. Danny begins dreaming of Kate, a woman whom he believes exists only in his unfinished novel... and in his dreams. Danny's life journey takes him through a series of events, twists and turns, and unexpected outcomes. He will go places he never thought he would go and do things he thought he was incapable of doing, as he tries to sort through what is real in his life and what is merely an illusion.
