Uniquely Me: A 36-Week Confidence, Self-Esteem & Social-Emotional Learning Curriculum is a comprehensive homeschool curriculum designed to help children ages 8–12 discover who they are, build healthy confidence, understand and manage their emotions, develop positive relationships, and grow into resilient, responsible young people. Created by educator, ordained minister, and Certified Christian Coach Rev. Darlene Williamson, Uniquely Me provides parents and educators with a structured, engaging approach to teaching the personal and social skills children need both inside and outside the classroom. Across 36 weeks of instruction, learners progress through four developmental units: Discovering Me, Understanding & Managing Me, Me & Other People, and Becoming My Best Me. Lessons address identity, strengths, values, self-esteem, emotional awareness, self-regulation, positive self-talk, resilience, communication, friendship, empathy, healthy boundaries, peer pressure, bullying, conflict resolution, decision-making, responsibility, leadership, goal setting, perseverance, asking for help, service, and purpose. The curriculum includes easy-to-follow lessons, hands-on activities, discussion questions, realistic scenarios, student worksheets, reflection opportunities, parent/educator guidance, assessments, progress tracking, portfolio activities, and a certificate of completion. Families who desire faith-integrated learning can also use the optional Scripture references and Biblical perspectives throughout the curriculum, while the core lessons can be taught independently in nonreligious educational settings. More than a collection of worksheets, Uniquely Me encourages meaningful conversations between children and the adults who guide them.
