Well here we are with Volume II of Dave’s BLOG written during the year 2021. It’s been four years since they were originally published online and lot has changed since then. What was 2021 like? I read that a majority of U.S. adults say 2021 was one of the worst years in American history. The year was characterized by the ongoing global struggle with the COVID-19 pandemic and its socioeconomic fallout, marked by uneven vaccine roll-outs and increased burnout, the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the January 6th attack on the US Capitol. Other notable events include the inauguration of Joe Biden as US President, the Taliban's takeover of Afghanistan, the global chip shortage, the launching of the James Webb Space Telescope. Life tended to occur on ZOOM calls. It was a crazy time. May these BLOGS be of some small help to you as you navigate the rough challenges of life. God bless you.
