My name is Chuck Polanski. I am an alcoholic – and “aspiring” writer. But, I am also the biggest Billy-Bad-Ass on the block. I'm the head honcho in charge of my domain. I'm the master of disaster. I can be the nightmare you never want to have. I am the guy who can sign your hall passes from Purgatory. I smile a dark smile when you nervously try to convince yourself that I won’t find you. But at the same time, I have the biggest heart; I’m usually a very easy going guy, believe it or not. But if you mess with me – or anyone I love, God forbid, you will regret it. That's why the day the woman I'd fallen head over heels in love with, told me her own son had been involved in the murder of a local Pearl City resident, I knew my life was going to change forever – and not for the better. How could I keep the woman I love, but also keep her son's involvement a secret?
