Introduction to Programming Using Java is a free, introductory programming textbook that uses Java as the language of instruction. It has no prerequisites. It is suitable for self-study or as a textbook for two semesters of college-level courses. It is available in two editions, one using JavaFX for GUI programming and one using Swing. This is the JavaFX edition. It requires Java 17, plus JavaFX. The book is also available for use on-line and for download at https://math.hws.edu/javanotes.
