A Year Less Ordinary

After 10 years living and working in London, David and Kirsty decided it was time to leave the city behind and take a year out to see a bit more of Planet Earth. Armed with a couple of around-the-world tickets, they embark on what turns out to be a trip of a lifetime, taking them through much of South America, New Zealand, Australia and eventually South Africa. This sometimes hilarious and informative book is a record of the places they visited and the people they encountered and shared time with on their travels. Illustrated with hundreds of colour photographs, it offers an insight into some of the highs and lows associated with 'free range' travelling. It will be a useful and entertaining read for anyone considering setting off on a similar journey, or who just has a love of travel.
