The Haunted Bookshop

The Haunted Bookshop by Christopher Morley is the delightful tale of the bookseller Roger Mifflin, the advertising man Aubrey Gilbert, and the lovely Titania Chapman who comes to work at Mifflin’s Brooklyn bookshop. This marvelous story of mystery, romance, and adventure is sadly haunted by the poltergeist of particularly painful pacing. Realizing that the story could have been so much better, I’ve re-edited the book and am quite proud to present to you my own “good parts” version. My version is a full 100 pages shorter than the original and much better. Enjoy! -David Hollander Editor
