For fourteen years, each session of the New Hampshire Senate began with a few short remarks and a brief prayer by their Chaplain. He didn't suggest how they should vote - he suggested how they should act. How they should treat one another - with dignity and respect and always remember that they had been sent to serve the people of New Hampshire rather than themselves of their particular political party. His remarks and prayers are provided in this book. Hopefully they will provide you with enjoyment, enlightenment, perhaps inspiration - even if you're not a Senator.
