Grandfather's Clock And Other Tales

An eclectic mix of short stories and poems. The short stories vary in length right down to the 150 and 60 word ‘challenges’ in writers’ groups, some of the latter requiring exactly that number, no more no less, and written to a given theme. Very good discipline for editing I am told. The poems are of things that took my fancy, sometimes like some of the stories, arriving in those half conscious moments between sleeping and awakening.
