Hidden Gifts

A horrible vision takes Elisa, when she is just four years old to the Temple of the Moon. Where she is hidden from the Romans. However, the High priestess hates the child from the first moment because of her exceptional beauty. She then does everything she can, to turn Elisa into nothing more than a silent, veiled shadow. Until years later, the girl's oracles offer the High priestess the opportunity to send the now eighteen-year -old Elisa, of all people, to the local Roman governor. Along the way, the party is nevertheless intercepted by a Roman patrol, led by the handsome centurion Torbé Aurelius Salugi. Yet, during a new vision, Elisa foresees the fateful eruption of Mount Vesuvius and is taken to Rome. Something happens there that the young woman had not anticipated. The goddess Venus claims Elisa as Her daughter...
