The Battered Trucks of Barrow

Barrow and Kotzebue are remote Alaskan Communities, located hundreds of miles beyond the end of the road system. Vehicles are brought to the communities by barge, and spend the rest of their lives running on a few miles of gravel road, subject to infrequent repair and severe weather.
