Of Demons and Prophecies

The first of a medieval/fantasy novel. In the author's words, it is "like Lord of the Rings, but less plot and more drama." Ryo Langretto, the sickly prince of the Demon Kingdom, has run away from home to discover what it means to become a true warrior. AFter finding refuge in a town of thieves, Ryo becomes stronger by learning how to wield a sword and becoming an assassin. Along the way, he comes face-to-face with love, loss, death, and life, all leading up to a life-or-death tournament he must win to prove his worth.
