Broken Soul

Taken from everything that he once knew, Andy Sussek is forced to survive in the far future. With the aid of a former rival, he sets out on his own. He soon discovers that he is hunted by a secret order of assassins, who mistook him for a fallen warlord. A new threat arises when a powerful race comes to wipe out the outlying colonies. Only by proclaiming himself as the fallen warlord, can he unite the colonies against this foe. But in the end, his efforts are in vain. Andy is forced to flee, seeking refuge among the powerful Alliance, where he struggles to stave off a deadly new evil from coming to fruition.
