No Going Back

The Shuttle Hyperion, and its crew, were high in Earth's orbit, when they discover a tiny ship drifting, dead in space, 19-hundred feet from their shuttle. Lt. Cmdr Kathleen Miller maneuvered the shuttle to within range, and Cmdr Erik Listrom donned his EVA suit to tether the small vessel and bring it into the Hyperion. It was Dr. Paul Stetson who examined the being, and then fought for the aliens right to be returned to space and not be taken to earth. The crew agreed that it would not be safe for them or the alien to be discovered. However, the alien returned to Earth and sought out the Doctor; the alien did not come alone. There are many story lines and three crew members of the Hyperion became reluctant parents to two aliens each. This is a story of love connections, tight family bonds, acceptance, discovery, prejudice and loyalty. And there's the horrifying discovery of the Triad. And, of course, the humans visiting an alien world 74,000 light years from earth.
