The Finnigan quintuplets only came to Earth to retrieve their human grandparents and take the back to Bennari. The Brothers were products of a mating between their human father and a woman from Bennari. When the Boys were 6 years of age, they came to Earth to experience their human roots. But the Bennari are a telepathic race with telekinetic abilities. They caught the eye of the Spectrum Research Facility and quickly became the target for study. For safety a year later, the family returned to Bennari. When the Boys were 14, they came back to Earth to live with their grandparents. Spectrum was not aware the brothers had returned until the day of their graduation. Spectrum’s people went after the brothers using their grandparent’s well-being as incentive. They finally placed their grandparents in a retirement village then returned to Bennari. Now 23, the Brothers have returned with RIM, but found that their grandparents were taken away from the facility.
