There are so many ways to learn to say no in your life and you need to be in a good mood to say no to the things that you do not want. You may wonder why it would be important to say no sometimes, rather than to say yes. Many of the popular songs in society from dance music, to country music, to rock music, to hip hop music, to rap music provides a glimpse into some of the reasons why it is good to say no and why learning to say no is important for everyone when you listen to the lyrics of the song that will be discussed later in this book. No matter what kind of music you enjoy listening to, there are many lessons in how to learn to say no within many creative art forms, from paintings, to sculptures, to many musical songs, plus this book. This book will help you to learn how to say no. Why is it important to say no? These scenarios below will also provide you with a better sense of the answer to the question. Scenario 1: You have had a busy day at work, and you need a breather, so you beg your boss for a longer lunch because you did not ever have your morning break. You know the afternoon break will not arrive either because the work is piling up, deadlines are looming, and there is not enough time to get all the work done. Learn to say no to what you do not want – learn to prioritize your time and choose what is most important to you to get that done first – even if your choice is to miss a deadline. Your boss yells at you that you must stay and do your work. You want to yell back. You want to cry. You want to quit. What do you do? You are in a bad mood. You can learn to say no to this bad mood and get out of this bad mood if you had learned to say no, which you will learn from this book. Scenario 2: You have absolutely no food in your fridge because your employer has not paid you for the past two weeks. You have not been keeping track of your expenses, and you go to the grocery store with all of the food items that you need; eggs, milk, bread, cheese, and cans of soda and your purchases come up to fifty dollars. You’re standing there at the cash register with the cashier playing a casino game. Will your debit card go through? It doesn’t! ERR! Card will not go through! You have no food in your fridge. You have no money. What do you do? You want to cry, you want to steal the food, you don’t know what to do, and you are in a bad mood.
