In the midst of piracy, land grabs, and indentured slaves baby Victoria is untimely ripped from her mother’s womb. Captain Newport, along with his cohort Easvary, kidnap a child and kill Molly, the twins’ mother. Realizing that the child will have no family, first mate Barnes resigns his commission and leaves Newport’s ship. Mister Barnes then decides to raise Victoria and care for her legacy, the Chelsea Inn. South Jersey, now being infested with intrigue, corruption, romance, and deviant aversions, cries out for help for its abused citizens. Something must be done to save their way of life.
