Endocrinological disorders are frequently accompanied by psychological disturbances. Conversely, psychiatric disorders, to a significant extent demonstrate a consistent pattern of endocrine dysfunctions. Endocrinopathies manifest as a myriad of psychiatric symptoms, as hormones affect the functioning of various organ systems. The presence of psychiatric symptoms in patients with primary endocrinological disorders provides a new insight for exploring the link between hormones and effective function.
