Dry County

DRY COUNTY When a new era of Prohibition makes alcohol illegal, a struggling alcoholic finds himself trapped in a cruel paradox: the only way to feed his addiction is to become a bootlegger. What begins as a desperate means of keeping the bottle full quickly pulls him into a dangerous underground world of moonshine, money, corruption, and violence. Every run puts him deeper in debt—to the men he works for, the law closing in around him, and ultimately to his own addiction. But as the stakes rise, he has to face a question more dangerous than getting caught: How far will a man go to feed the thing that's destroying him? Dry County is a dark crime story about addiction, desperation, and the unintended consequences of trying to outlaw temptation.
