The Cloud that had the Silver Lining

A priceless silver collection is stolen, putting at risk negotiations to secure the future of a major art collection. Julian is the Curator of these collections and now on a quest to recover the silver. He finds himself not just searching for criminals but also living with them as, after his rich wife abandoned him, he has to rent out rooms in order to pay the bills. His world goes from tweed-suited curators and art dealers to a fiery world champion boxer, foreign students and a delightful but scatty doctor. His refined daytime life amongst country house treasures is contrasted with the chaos and unpredictability of his evenings and weekends at Elwy Lodge. He travels in search of the silver, and also for a new partner to bring home and return his house to its former order. His solution is unexpected and has unexpected consequences.
