Rescue from Venus

Was it too late to save the seven brave men of science who had made up the crew of Earth’s first expedition to Venus? Professor Jarvison, his daughter, Elizabeth, and young Corwin Trumbull, who had been given one year of life by doctors on Earth, had crossed the void, hoping to be in time.
