ABSTRACT
This paper proposes method and solution that can be adopted to tackle Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) problems of developing countries.
It takes into cognizance the problems encountered in waste collection and disposal in developing countries and suggests solutions that not only solve this problems but creates employments and job opportunities.
It encourages privatization of the waste collection method and discourages the conventional landfill method advocating for Bio-Reactor landfill method as substitute.
Sorting out waste for recycling is proposed as a step before landfilling and emphasis is laid on the Waste To Energy (WTE) technology as not only a way to eradicate Municipal Solid Waste meant for land filling but also a source of energy and income.
