THE FIELDHOUSE

Thomas Docremedy had spent years away, avoiding all the old memories and working to find himself. When he returns home to take care of some family business, he finds that things have dramatically changed. The town is dead, and the old emotions, the fanatical support for their basketball team, has disappeared. Then, the Muncie Central basketball coach suddenly passes away, and Thomas is asked to coach the Bearcats, the team that he had loved, as a youngster. When he finally accepts, he leads the team through a series of obstacles, before arriving at the only thing that matters in Muncie, the State Basketball Tournament.
